New Year Reflection

From the fathomless depths of depression and rejection
Comes a New Year reflection

I think of the Blessed Virgin and Her divine conception
I try to flee from the devil's deception

I reflect on days past
And where I am now,
Future hopes to endow

In this New Year reflection
Comes a deep, spiritual perception
As I strive for Heavenly perfection
