An acrostic poem of survival

Wintertime

Wintertime
Wearing a heavy coat hat and gloves
Investigating a possible warmer area
Noticing nothing is around
Thinking you’re going to die from the cold snow
Envisioning the worst scenario
Realizing this is just stinking thinking
Time to put the scared brain to work
Initiating a plan into motion
My snow cave is insulation from the frigid air
Ever grateful for my extended life
