80 Word Flash Fiction

No Prize

by Dolly'sPoems

She knew the day would come.  Anxiety had slowly reached the highest height, fear entered every bone, when she was home. Nothing stopped the clock, the day was here, there was no cheer. With bated breath committees made decisions. The contest done, she felt the blow, the over flow.  She did not win, her story was too thin, her empty words, absurd! No prize, she was not wise, she went to bed, as nothing more can now be said.
