Thank you, dad

My dad was not a scholar,

Yet he was prone to self-doubt.

He shared with me what he had.

You can't do much better than that.

He did not hold back.

While he was alive,

I did not realize the gift that was mine.

But now I am proud that he was my dad.

"Now dad, it is my turn, to be a good dad."
