Bottle In The Smoke

Suffering is an old truth
As old as the hills and the mountains
Trials and sufferings are part of our lot
Those who were before us suffered
Now also we are facing sufferings
The next generations may also face sufferings

Sufferings are like a bottle hanging
In the poor man's tent or cottage
The smoke from the fireplace gets into the bottle
A bottle in an old Arab's tent
A bottle in a poor African cottage
A bottle in an Indian outcast or lower caste
The bottle in the smoke became black
It is not one smoke but millions of soot
Life became black with sufferings.

However, in a rich man house, there is no smoke
But sufferings do not make a difference
As rain brings forth beautiful flowers
There are also trees and animals that can cause diseases
Children are beautiful but they can cause unseen smoke
The blood that runs in joy also runs in sufferings
Man weeps in joy and also weeps in sufferings
There is a fire in suffering but with this fire
We can also warm our bodies and cook our food
