Nothing like fun after a fresh snow fall.

Winter

White is the morning with fresh fallen snow
Wrought during night of wintry winds blow
Wafts and drifts of blankets of shimmering white
Wobbly snow suited kids with scarfs pull tight
Walls built - fort ready for challenging snow fights
Well-packed snowballs fired at those who come near
Woe to those unable to dodge, duck or instantly veer
