I thought I was happy, though something was missing.
A piece of a puzzle -- just out of my grasp.
I had a great husband and four beautiful children.
Still-- there was an emptiness deep inside.

My Grandmother died-- she was a strong Christian.
I thought it was just a silly superstition.
I was missing her so much-- so I dusted off my childhood Bible.

Alone in my room, reading the gospel of Matthew,
I spoke aloud to her God! Saying, "Jesus are you real?"
The room filled with a bright blinding light.
I was never the same after that night.

At that moment, I knew in my heart that Jesus was there.
He came and filled that void, with His power!
I am connected to God, my spirit reborn.

Now Jesus is the light of my world!

Whoever believes in Jesus has eternal life. There is a God-shaped void that only He can fill. He has written eternity in our hearts. Jesus is the light of the world.
My Grandmother died in 1982 shortly after I was born again, by God's Holy Spirit through Jesus Christ my Lord.
