everyone knows that
without a doubt ...
listening to carolers
voices singing
and loudly praising Him
with an exuberant shout ...

The grown ups
and their children alike
are snuggling into bed,
delightfully dreaming
of the magic that happens
on Christmas Eve night ...
giving Him their thanks
for blessings and gifts,
while outside their home,
silently waiting for Santa
are beautiful
Christmas lights

Christmas morning
also finding their toys
