Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level
Winter can be unfair.

Not Fair!

What's fair about deep snow and ice,
this frigid air that bites one's face,
these gray-skied days when sun's unseen?
Convince me Nature isn't mean,
she has remorse, some saving grace,
she's capable of being nice.

This poem has a pattern that is called a Browning and named for the English poet. Each line of the six-line stanza is iambic tetrameter; the rhyme scheme is ABCCBA.
