would too, thou reap my joys or pain,
to feel how deep the words or wounds
portray the thoughts that they proclaim?

Dost thou find solace twined in verse
if might I bleed upon the page?
Would here, one know the depth of me
while seeking sorrow to assuage?

The quill and parchment lie in wait
to ease so soft my tattered mind.
If might I bleed upon the page,
sweet refuge frees what I've confined.

Shall all my thoughts so quaintly dance
with elegance upon the stage?
Could meaning hold its valid worth
if might I bleed upon the page?

Writing Prompt
A kyrielle is made of quatrains (four lines) that rhyme (any rhyme scheme can be used). Each stanza (quatrain) has a line that repeats from the previous stanza. That line is usually the last line in the stanza, but it does not have to be. Each line is made up of eight syllables. There is no limit to the number of stanzas. A Kyrielle is usually made up of three or more stanzas. For this prompt, a minimum of three stanzas is required.
