Why I haven't written lately

Writers Block on Steroids

It’s been awhile since I wrote poetry that’s New,

I haven’t worked on my novel too,

To tell the truth I don’t know where to start,

But on Fanstory I want to do my part,

In the beginning,

My ideas were brimming,

With tales of the brave and bold,

But, my creative fires went cold,

New job forced me to a break,

No ideas in my brain could  bake,

Now I know this poem isn’t squat,
But I want my profile to be Hot,

In case you're wondering why there are words in bold, I originally wrote this for the Use These Words contest but missed the deadline. So I thought why waste a good rhyming poem, at least I think it's good.
