Bob worked hard as a cop. He patrolled the streets and made sure there wasn't any funny business. The citizens were safe from any harm.
He guided the traffic in the intersection. There were no accidents during his shift work. Bob stopped working and headed to the police department. When he had parked his police car, he went inside the department and had done all the paperwork. His boss called him over to come into his office. All his friends thought that he was in trouble.
Bob: What's up, boss?
Boss: Do you have any idea what you have done?
Bob: I know I have messed up, sir. But, I will make it up to you. I promise.
Boss: D@mn, right you will, son
Bob: It was a busy week at this time. I will try to catch up
Boss: I know you will because you won't mess up again. Kidding! Surprise, you didn't do anything wrong, son! I am promoting you to police Sergeant.
Bob: Why, sir, I am so excited. I thought that you were going to discharge me of my duties. Thank you so much, sir.
Boss: Why would I discharge you? You are my number one cop! You're welcome, son!
Bob had done all the hard work and his mates congratulated him, even his own boss.
