Pay Attention

Put Them Down!

Drives me crazy. Contest Winner 
Cell phones are quite wonderful
but can be annoying too,
when the person using it
completely ignores you.

Not just for important calls,
or ordering from Amazon,
or having pizza delivered,
its use goes on and on.

Text messages and Tic Toc,
Facebook in all its wonder.
Googling and playing games,
good manners torn asunder.

When you are with a good friend,
or perhaps someone you love,
please put your cell phone away,
it doesn't take much to shove...

Your phone into your pocket,
in fact, please just turn it off.
Enjoy talking to who you're with,
it's the best thing to do, don't scoff!

Good manners just demand it,
play with it when you're alone.
People are more important,
than that DAMN annoying phone!
