My life in a nut shell.

Here It Is

by blondie560

I was born on September 14, 1958. My parents married young because, you know, good girls didn't do things like that. Scandalous!

I’m the oldest of four, three girls and one boy. There was no money in my unprivileged life. Rented houses, used cars, and most of our clothes homemade. I learned superb skills though, cooking, baking, and sewing.

I was smart in school, but couldn't attend college. My clerical job paid $100/week. I was rich! I bought a new, not used car.

Met the love of my life from that job. He came with a house! We celebrated forty-two years in June. Two kids made my life complete.

A new career path took me to the Postal Service. I delivered for you in rain, or snow, or gloom of night, for twenty years.

Retired, living the dream, wearing sequin ball caps, in Sun City (Illinois-not Florida or Arizona, bummer).
