Bright Horizons

Whenever the sun breaks upon the horizon
awakening dawn with a golden embrace,
soft trills from the wrens blend with gentle doves cooing
returning warm greetings with delicate grace.

Clear dewdrops drip slowly reflecting the sunbeams,
sheer wisps of old fog hang tall in the trees;
a stirring of life moves along dampened branches
that bend with the moods of a whimsical breeze.

Whenever the sun breaks upon your horizon
confirming the cycle of life for a day,
each moment is precious, a gift to be treasured,
enjoy the small blessings that brighten your way.
