Rispetto - Contradictions

Some contradictions mar the nest,
and self importance dominates.
They scar the whole and fail love's test.
But selflessness true grace creates.

As Condemnation curses minds,
it deafens wisdom, then it blinds.
I'd rather cross a shark-filled moat,
than drown in seas where dead words float.

Rispetto

The rispetto is an Italian poetry form. It consists of two stanzas with 8 syllables per line, ( tetrameter) and two different Rhyme schemes, abab ccdd

Romans 2:1 Therefore you have no excuse, O man, everyone of you who judges, For in passing judgement on another you condemn yourself, because you, the judge, practise such things.

James 2: 26 For as the body apart from the spirit is dead, so also faith apart from works is dead.
