Silence besets me as Darkness greets.
Discreetly, I search.
I've crossed the many seas fruitlessly.
But I know within?
...
Yes, silence as I tread carefully but to no avail?
Perhaps God shall lift the veil?
And, again I can realize the
"Folly of My Ways?"
...
Has silence lifts, the Darkened Clouds pass over me.
But good Lord above why?
Why do I feel so strange and
Un-arranged?
Movements to the left?
Movements to the right?

'I never wanted to die at a young age only Eighteen.'
(If you know what I mean?)
'But apparently.'
'The Night has beckoned me.'
'And, Silence besets me.'
'Alas Dear Lord God!'
'My Search is over!'
'My Quest is Completed!'
'And, no more shall I search fruitlessly!'
...
'I now fully understand the movements to the left into the right.'
'To take something precious from me and give to Thee!'
'Yes, so that four strangers that I shall never meet and again greet.'
'LIFE!'
...
Note: This dedication for my only son Jason Richard Smrkovsky.
Yes, was from a thought I had as a child back in 1962.
...
I was watching a movie entitled,
"Jason and the Argonauts"
I was fascinated by this Greek fictional hero named Jason in search of the Golden Fleece.
This poem is based on that search.
And the Golden Fleece of course is my Jason.
For we have donated his organs.
And the gift has now been going on for Eighteen plus years.
As of April 1st, 2021.

After great suffering and appear to 17 hours until April 1st 2003.
My family and I decided to donate Jason's organs.
The reason was quite simple.
For four people awaited life.
