Life on the Ark: The Owl

I spread my wings
as Noah's daughter
sings to me,
she is anxious,
so I listen to her,
Trust in my creator
will lead me to a
world full of
my kin

the smell of salty water
graces my soul
"Hoot Hoot"
my wings stretch
and I feel good
my mate nuzzles
my beak
as the boat sways
in harmony

the rain ceases
light shines through
we will fly to our
Promised Land
grateful to God
and our human
companions
