A Swap Quatrain for Potlatch Poetry

Come Walk With Me

by damommy

Come walk with me along the way,
may see a butterfly ballet
or watch a little busy bee.
Along the way, come walk with me.

The leaves will fall from every branch,
kaleidoscopic avalanche,
and shroud the ground in nature’s shawl.
From every branch, the leaves will fall.

We’ll cross the creek just over there
might even find a fox’s lair,
and sneak up for a little peek.
Just over there, we’ll cross the creek.

Such wondrous things for us await,
small miracles to celebrate.
Much joy this little woodland brings.
For us await such wondrous things.
