The homeless came to mind immediately

The Life of a homeless person

"The Life of a............" Contest Winner 
In the city where I live, there are many
homeless people

Tattered figures form ragged lines, outside buildings with tall steeples

On the way to work, in my SUV,
The hardened faces glance up at me

and dirty guilt fills my heart as I think of the disparity
