This work has reached the exceptional level
Love everlasting

Life's Like A Burning Candle

My life has been like a candle,
giving me a soft warm glow.
The glow that warmed my mind and heart,
adding beauty to lifes show.

But, when you came into my life,
then my candle flamed anew.
Joining in to our relationship,
was the thing I had to do.

So, soon the day came when we wed
and sealed it with a kiss.
For many years we lived a life
of harmony, peace and bliss.

Fate is fickle and made a call,
taking you away from me.
Hopefully at some future time,
we'll meet in eternity.
