Spring time is my happy place.

Spring Is My Favorite

Spring is in the air
I can feel it all around,
the birdies chirping
are my favorite springtime sounds.
Happy is my heart
no more gloomy winter blues,
time to put away
all my heavy winter shoes.
Flowers start to bloom
all the colors sooth my heart,
Family picnic plans
fresh food from the corner mart.
Running with a kite
trying to get it in the air,
fun time with the kids
people walking everywhere.
Not too hot or cold
my favorite season of all,
Springtime's in the air
it's my favorite next to Fall.
