Jungle Love

by Wils

A lion and giraffe danced under the moon
Beautiful moves, making each other swoon
Claw upon hoof holding the other tight
Delighted in the company they had that night
Each of them in love with the other
Furry romance for one another
Giraffe heard the purr of lion happiness
Her heart skipped a beat, he had finesse
Ideal setting for a jungle dance
Joined together they had every chance
Kind-hearted is she was the lion’s thought
Loving and caring, I’ll ask her, I ought
Marry me Giraffe, by the light of the moon
Nary a creature would think it too soon
Owl can preside over the ceremony
Pleased to be part of our matrimony
Queen you will be, in my eyes alone
Ready to talk about love we have shown
So this jungle pair said their marriage vows
To one another, which raised some eyebrows
Under the stars on this special night
Voicing their love, it felt only right
Went off in a carriage pulled by elephant
Xtra heavy a load made him puff and pant
Yet they arrived at their place of abode
Zeal for each other, their love never slowed
