Let me not reject...

The Truth of God's Word

Lord,



Let me not reject the truth of Your word;

as my spirit discerns all I have heard.

Touch my heart as I strive to comprehend...

with understanding - the grace you extend.





Send your Holy Spirit to take control -

allow Christ's teachings to help make me whole.

As I seek guidance from Heaven above...

let me move forth in the flow of Your love.





Lead me in the way to honor and praise;

giving You reverence in all my ways.

Shine Your light on the pathway I should take;

keep me strong in Your might and wide awake.





Let Your instructions give me - means to cope;

to trust and believe - my faith is my hope.

Help me to stay focused and hear Your call -

to stand on Your word and witness to all.
