Cleve Land

Cleve Hawkins' world of chiselers and cops,
muggs and pugs and friends in some flops,
gunsels with grit and fink lollipops,
all found a home with Bob.
Dames and twists, bimbos and molls,
jaspers and stoolies, pimps in pool halls,
crooners and hoofers, and what one recalls,
all found a home with Bob.
Our shamus was famous with bulls and hacks,
known by cuckoos and floozies, pikers and sacks,
now they have moved, and those are the facts,
gone to a new home -- with Bob.
