An Unfinished Story

Light and Sweet Contest Winner 
I found my scrapbook album,
in a drawer the other day.
taped in it was a letter,
that you wrote to me to say...

How very much you liked me,
and how glad you were we met.
Can't forget how you looked that day,
to win you, my heart was set.

Flowers pressed, some ticket stubs,
are mementos to recall,
all the good times that we've had,
through years we shared it all.

A new scrapbook's been started,
to fill with new memories.
I'm dreaming of what might come next,
lost in pleasant reverie.
