My thoughts on this subject.

Particle of Sand

*Sand: noun
Sand, mineral, rock, or soil particles that range from 0.02 to 2mm (0.008~0.08 inch)

1) a loose granular substance; Typically pale yellowish Brown, resulting from the erosion of siliceous and other rocks and forming a major constituent of beaches, riverbeds, the seabed, and deserts.

2) Sand is a granular material composed of finally divided rock and mineral particles.
Sand had various compositions but is defined by its grain size.
Sand grains and sand are smaller than gravel and more coarse than silt.
Sand can also refer to a "texture class"
Of soil or soil type ie, a soil contains more than 85% sand and size particles by mass.
Note: This is my second Summer working on this book.
