Bravata Gone Wrong

To SPICE up a dreary day
daredevil twins
stole dad's sport's car
and went for a joyride

Sadly fate stepped in, had its say
when all hell broke out midway

Stereo at full blast
driving way too fast;
car landed in a ditch
and all went black as pitch

One bro was stitched up and in a torpid slumber, 
the other finished 6 feet under.

Police report was brutally GRAPHIC
'twas a teenage prank turned tragic

The DEATH of a son took its toll,
family life never again whole.

Laughter and JOY a faded memory,
the only thing left destructive energy.
