All his life my older brother has been a quick thinker.
My brother the quick thinker
by Richard Frohm
Our parents were going out one evening. My mother gave my older brother money for snacks and drinks. John was getting a Pepsi. If that's what he was getting, so was I. John took off on his bike for the store. It was hot that night, so a cold Pepsi would be perfect. Sitting on our porch all I could think of was my Pepsi.
I saw John as he drove up our driveway. As he stopped, the bag broke and one Pepsi fell out and shattered on the ground. John looked at me. "Sorry, your bottle broke."
