Before His angels He parades you,
you, the apple of His eye.
Fruit of Christ's triumphant questing,
His bright star will light your sky.

God will tend your future pathways,
song and care will mark your way.
In your slumber while you're resting
watching you till break of day.

He will ever walk beside you,
through the conflict, storms and tears
He will calm the tempest brewing,
wipe away all doubt and fears.

You will ride on wings of promise,
years may seem to melt away.
Yet the truth will be your purpose
His right arm will be your stay.
