A Short Rhymed Poem

Forest Feast (I'm It!)

by Debra White

Thirty feet above the forest floor,
minding my own business, nothing more.
Buzzing little beasties came my way -
Nibbled me a bit, then flew away.

Now back on the ground I dare to glance.
Did I get off lightly? Not a chance!
On my arms and legs, before my eyes,
sev'ral scarlet lumps are on the rise.

Inspired by today's family trip to 'Go Ape' at Normanby Hall.

The tree climbing was so much fun but my insect bites are so painfully itchy...sniff!

Go Ape is the UK's #1 Outdoor Adventure company located at 34 stunning UK locations. Go Ape is home to 9 high rope and and forest floor activities. (
