The Lord Has Blessed Me With...

Just Another Day

Just another day to give God the praise

Unwavering faith to trust in His ways

Salvation gives life to those who believe

Trusting in His word to not be deceived



Another day of grace, His love divine

Never-failing, He is always on time

Overjoyed with love - a new day begin

To embrace the gift of life, free from sin

Heaven's wonders bestow peace to my soul

Ecstatic knowing He is in control

Reaching out to share God's abiding love



Deep-rooted in grace for Heaven above

An abundance of mercy for mankind

Yearn for "Just another day," - peace of mind

"Just Another Day That the Lord Has Made" was my mother's favorite gospel song. She would sing this song all the time; she taught it to me.
I write this poem honoring her love for the Lord and the love she had for her family.
