Talk A Walk contest

April Love

Perfection in a single bloom
outlined in shades of pink.
Concentric circles tease the eye;
they swirl in lines, succinct.

Each blossom gowned in tints of rose
unfurls when springtime comes.
This garden diva shines her best
when earth awakens, thrums.

Camellia japonica is
exquisitely so dear.
I anxiously await the day
her bursting buds appear.
