2-4-6 Poem writing prompt entry
Writing Prompt Write a 2-4-6 syllable poem. It has three lines. The first line has 2 syllable, the second one 4 syllables and the last line 6 syllable. The subject can be anything. However the three lines have to rhyme |
If you have ever been fortunate enough to witness preschoolers perform in a dance recital, you will certainly relate to this poem which is approximately how many dance moves these little ones actually do in their routine. If you are the loving parent of one of the tiny ballet stars, you know that you have paid for dance lessons, ballet shoes, practice leotard, recital costume, professional photographs, recital tickets... AND an over-priced congratulatory floral bouquet. You also know that your child's performance will forever be in your memory!
