Drawing is not to scale.
Drat! Cat Lost!
Signage posted on a dark tree -
Accurate sketch for all to see.
The sign is clear, lost cat is near.
He may be sad or in real fear.
If he was bad, he’d have a scar.
His legs are thin, he can’t be far.
He has four legs - two front, two back…
They all can scratch or just attack.
He has two eyes, they both are bright.
And we all know, he yowls at night.
On top his head, two ears stand high
when catching birds, though he can’t fly.
His tail is long, he likes to purr.
He likes to play. He has soft fur.
With two sharp ears, he hears the sound
that fat squirrels make, when on the ground.
One thing is clear, he has a tail
That stands so straight. But, without fail,
It seems to be far too thin. ~
It’s hard to tell just where it's been.
And, on the sketch, he has a neck
And it’s thin, too. Oh, what the heck!
Unlike a dog… Drat! It’s a cat!
No clue of where it might be at!
