I chose to write a short poem about Patriots Day this year because I am sick of all the wars where so many innocent men, women and even children have to fight, hide, and shed their blood, or become homeless, orphans, disabled vets, etc. I hope the battles between blacks and whites, the terrorist attacks, and other wars end soon!
