When a killer stalks you at night -
Someone Help Me, Please
by Begin Again
In the dead of night, my telephone rang. I struggled to reach it.
His powerful grip on my throat made my eyes bulge. His satanic laugh mocked me.
“Sorry, Jeffery, I don’t date guys like you.” He spat in my face. “Guys like me kill girls like you.”
His blade slid across my wet cheeks. Blood oozed from the wounds.
The shrill ring of the phone startled him. Angry at his weakness, he plunged the knife into my side. “Die, bitch.”
Bullets rained through my window. Jeff’s body withered.
Outside, my elderly neighbor brandished her Glock, "He better be dead.”
