He woke up tense, feeling like an ominous cloud encircled his brain. It seemed like he'd forgotten something he should have remembered because it was very dangerous.
He had promised himself this fear would never overtake him again, but here it was, about to engulf him. Time flies by on these days.
He saw her coming! She was big and ugly, a yellow monster, as she swallowed up the distance between them. Her belly was full of other hapless innocents. The yellow beast soon disgorged her prisoners.
It was the first day of school, and this third grader was DOA.
