Change is coming and humans will need to adjust.
In the Shadow of A.I.

What will happen in the days to come?
Will humans be replaced in the work place?
Will jobs be done by robotic apparatuses?
If so, what will remain for human race?
Seems to be little argument that buckets of metal,
Gears and wiring are more efficient than we humans.
They may well produce all the needed material things
Still will there be need for human acumen?
This is a great existential dilemma indeed
What if we don’t have to work anymore
Realize that computers are not very smart
Human qualities will need to prosper even more
So, let’s ponder:
Humans will have time to study and learn
Practice empathy, creativity, and critical thinking
In other words, have the opportunities to create
A better world with all peoples’ interlinking
The caring professions cannot be replaced by machines
Human touch, and caring will always be needed
However, manual labor will fade to non-existence
But tenderness and loving care will never be ceded
New opportunities and hopes for better lives
If and when robots rule the manual world
We humans will need to redefine our existence
