The winter pines

The Winter Pine Tree

The winter pine tree

Stands majestically

Subtle dark greens

Dress her beautifully


She sways in the wind

As if ballet dancing

Snow covers her limbs

Needles are glistening


Under the branches

Bunnies are burrowing

Deep in the tree

Birdies are nesting


Christmas is coming

Who will be chosen

The pines are whispering

Will it be me or you


The ultimate joy

The angel wearing

On Christmas eve

Carolers singing
