Lost in a dark place

Light of the World

by Aussie

Lost and alone, feeling my way
In the distance I spied a light shining
The wind howled and rain pelted
The light flickered calling me

Stumbling over fallen branches
listening to howling winds
Fear had grabbed my throat
The light flickered strongly

Suddenly the storm abated
The wind died down
The light grew stronger
My fear had left me

I ran towards it's source
Inwardly knowing He waited
Jesus is the Light of the World
Safe in His loving arms
