This work has reached the exceptional level
New Beginnings

Blessed Mother

by Aussie

A lowly woman chosen by God
To carry His Son to save all men
She was a vessel for God's love
Born in a manger, Mary birthed Jesus

In her heart she knew His fate
She would hold Him only for
Thirty-three years on this Earth
Standing at the Cross tears fell

Jesus looked down at His mother
And said, look to John now
For I am going but will return
She saw Him lifted up to Heaven

Missed Him every day
When she grew old in human terms
God lifted her up to be with Him
Sainted Mother of Jesus the Lord
