Writing Prompt
Write a Senru. A poem that follows the five, seven, and five syllable count (5, 7, 5). 17 syllables in all. Senryu is usually written in the present tense and only references to some aspect of human nature or emotions.


The photo depicts Edith with her murderous mother who was arrested two days ago (10th March) after the autopsy revealed that the toddler had been suffocated.

Initially, the police believe Edith s death was due to tragic yet natural causes.
