Butterflies

Acrostic Poem Contest Winner 
Beauty in flight, as they flutter around.
Under and over, where could they be bound?
To some secret place where butterflies meet?
Taking their time, as they fly down my street.
Every summer, their bright colors delight.
Rainbows with wings, what a beautiful sight!
Flying along with the greatest of ease,
Left behind in their wake, sweet memories.
Indeed, they are here for such a short time.
Enjoy them now before Winter is nigh,
Such a brief season that they have to fly.
