Life's a Musical Roller Coaster of ups and downs.
With each and every High note?
You're up!
But with each and every low note?
...
'Honest God.'
'Lord I never saw it coming!'
'Now look at you My Son!'
'You're all busted up!'
'Everything except your ass!'
...
Note: This true event happened to me on my 10-speed bicycle on the way to church.
It was October 15th, 2011.
They were having a "Toys for Tots"
Motorcycle run.
Where each cyclist and their passenger would donate any toy for the homeless.
...
This happened to make the radio news and also a local television station. Because the person that wasn't paying attention, to the person behind, who also wasn't paying attention!
And, that third person?
Hit the pole and the pole hit me!
...
As a result?
My left leg was broken in six pieces.
The tibia was shattered in half and the fibia in five pieces.
I did three weeks as a result.
In Mystic Meadows a rehab facility.
...
They opened up my patella or knee cap then inserted at 18-in titanium rod.
They then sealed the incision with what I call piano wire and attached the rod with three screws to the Bone.
...
'Lord I tried but I never saw the jerk coming!'
Note: Luckily, I was hit from behind!
And, survived a "Good Night Irene"
Love tap!
Yes, to the back of my seven speed bicycle.
...
Yes luckily, I was hit from behind.
But I did have a Heart-Attack on the way to the hospital!
And it took twenty-twenty units to revive me.
(Five and a half hours later)
...
I was told exactly what they had happened.
(As told as a result of the accident by eyewitnesses at the scene)
When I woke up, I was wearing a Halter monitor for my heart.
I was in so much pain!
So, I took it off twice because the morphine drip wasn't doing it's job!'
...
Note: If I hadn't been hit from behind and thrown out of the way?
And, I rolled to safety.
(They called it a log roll at the hospital)
I would have been hit and run over the next oncoming vehicle.
...
Result: When I woke up five and a half hours later?
I was told that I had Brain Damage.
(Although minor)
