While

While I yet have life in me may I praise
the One who created both night and day.

While I still have the time may I extol
Him, whose breath, has made me a living soul.

While I am capable of reasoned thought
let me laud Him in whose image I'm wrought.

While my heart is beating let me worship
Him, whose power holds the world in His grip.

While I'm able let me give thanks to Him
who on my behalf, was made to be sin.

While there remains a chance let me applaud
my mighty, awesome and wondrous God.
