A Way with Words

by Y. M. Roger

When gently calls the lure of twilight’s veil
And light clings childishly to ev’ning’s pale,
‘Tis then my mind can revel in
Imagination’s silent din
As found in pathways forged by fairy tales…

For who can know the breath of passing time
Or how such exhalation posits rhyme?
Only my muse can understand,
Take pen’s piquant aroma and
Breathe nuanced essence in life’s paradigm.

Okay, folks - I know I read a number of your posts of this kind, but for the life of me I cannot remember the originator/author... so, let me know if you know, and I'll add it to what's included from memory here below! ;) Thanx for reading me! ;)

PS -- This may or may not be my last post for a while -- let's just say life throws curve balls we're not expecting and my catcher's mit wasn't ready for the latest. For those of you prayer warriors out there, please put in a word for me with the BIG guy, if you would.... I covet any and all of them. Peace to you all! ;)

Quickstep Duo:
It is two verses (you can add more two at a time) Pentameter (10) and Tetrameter (8) such that

10-10-8-8-10 10-10-8-8-10

With a rhyme scheme of: aabba ccddc
