I year was 1978 when I first started thinking seriously about getting married and starting a family and age Twenty-four.
I purchased and paid off the mortgage from my mother Florence.

So, I own the house free and clear with a minor $600+ in taxes a year.

Now that I had a successful career and as a young man I decided to go wife shopping.
The only problem is in five years.
I would have my first nervous breakdown!

I knew there was something wrong after making and attempting to display Canada Dry 2 Liter soda products.
I had nicked the bottles twice.
(With my razor knife)
Second time I got a serious shower right in the face!

I should have known it was coming.
Because my hands could no longer hold steady the razor knife!
That was when I heard a pop sound in my brain and knew something was wrong with me.
I went upstairs and told the owner that I wasn't feeling well and I had to go home.
Which is very rare for me.
Because as the Grocery manager of a small Supermarket.
On Long Beach Island, New Jersey.
I loved my job!

The next three weeks was spent in the Jersey Shore Rosa Pavilion mental hospital.
In Neptune, New Jersey.
I could not sleep for an entire week!
And, back then they didn't understand the mental health industry.
(as well as today)
But I was diagnosed properly with Severe Depression with Chronic and Psychotic Syndrome.

It's funny how when you go through something like this.
You quickly learn that your mind has slowed down incredibly.
Yes, to the point that it takes so long just to button the buttons of your shirt!
And, you don't understand the TV!
As it's just becoming a flashing and blinking image.
My psychiatrist said put me on a medication called haldol.
I didn't know during this really period that it was tensing up all the muscles throughout my body.
When I was released and searched out a psychiatrist.
(Doctor Dengrove helped me and gave me a shot of Imprimine)
this had an immediate effect on me and I would stay on this medication.

Ten, Long, years were passing and now my career had blossomed!
Yes, my salary has tripled and I was married with a family.

The '90s were promising and beneficial to me and my family.
Together with my wife Carolyn.
We watched as a beautiful five Roses blossomed on...

I put an addition on my house in 1985 and doubled it.
The children were growing like weeds!

My second nervous breakdown was much different than the first.
This time I had to institutionalize myself in Pomona.

This mental hospital was a little different and they used the color system.
You need to go through your goal program and progress forward.
Yes, from the minor in colors of the yellow, orange, and red.
Finally into the color blue to be able to be released.
And yes, this was a normal 2-week period of course.

My mind was still damaged as the previous one but now I had much more responsibilities.
My psychiatrist Doctor Williams had tried me on a new antidepressant from Europe.

But I had a reaction to it with a severe bleeding from my nose.
So, they switched me on to another anti-psychotic but that also reacted negatively!
And, severely altered the muscle structure of my face.

I remember my wife came to visit my brand new 2003 Chevy cavalier.
When she entered the facility I was waiting for her.
She didn't recognize me and walked right past and asked a nurse where I was?
When the nurse replied that I was standing right there and she stole my face?
She got very foul mouth and told them that she did not know what they were giving me and had me on just a better take me off immediately!

Now another 10 years has passed.
I went from a young man who owned his house.
To a middle aged man with his house mortgaged.

The problem with repetition?
Is that sometimes we do the wrong things and do not realize this.
My last and final nervous breakdown.
