Glowing Night

Walking downtown, holding hands on a summer eve
Suddenly, like fizzy soda bubbles, the stars begin to cry
We take shelter in the entrance of an apartment building
Waiting, talking, laughing, till the rain is done

We step out onto the sidewalk, our faces
Caressed by soft southern winds
Continue our hand holding stroll
Under an exhilarating canopy of
Amorously glowing star light
