It used to be that men would strive

In their brief time on earth

To do what’s right and teach their young

Respect for things of worth

 
Like honesty, integrity,

To live in God’s good grace,

And when their lives were ended,

To have left a better place.

 
But now, it seems some have forgot

That freedom is a right,

Of everyone—not theirs to take—

For freedom we will fight.
